Daniel`s Disability Data Base
This web site has been set up in memory of a very special little boy Daniel. Daniel died New Years Eve 2007 after a fight for survival over Christmas and part of the month December. It is the 4th anniversary of his death. Both myself ( Lesley ) and Daniel`s brother ( Aaron ) decided to do something special for Daniel. We are unable to give him presents for Christmas so we have decided to build this website in his memory.
The website will be a data base for people with disability / special needs. Also we will be telling life story`s about Daniel.
Another quest is to hear from other parents or care givers of children, adults or even animals with disabilty / special needs. We will over time obtain a wealth of information, idea`s, advice, links and reviews on equipment and places visited by special people. Also of battles to over come disabilty.
We have a facebook page linked to the website In Memory Of Daniel ( Mchugh ) Worldwide Special Needs Connection Group

Please feel free to contact me If you have anything your would like me to add anything to this website anything from a link to a special poem or your own story please email

Daniel was loved by anyone who met him Our Moto was to " live life to the full " and we did just that. Which you will be able to read about on this web site.
Daniel was born on the 23rd April 1997. Daniel was given no hope before and after he was born. His condition was called Pseudo Trisomey 13. Patau Syndrome.
Daniel was a very happy little boy who had his own mind and plenty of determination. He was very intelligent, he loved to swim, ride his bicycle and go horse riding.
Daniel sadly fell asleep on New Years Eve 2007. His death shocked everyone that new him as it was very unexpected. The photograph opposite is Daniel In Zante Greece in September 2007. This was taken a couple of months / a few weeks before his death. He looked so very well at this time. Radiant and full of mischief it just shows how life can change so very quickly. Little did we no taking this picture Daniel would not be with us much longer.
Looking through this web site you will find both happy and some very heart breaking stories. Some of it can be harsh reading and my make you cry. I hope the stories on here help everyone to understand sometimes there are not happy endings. Losing a child his the worst thing that can happen in anyones life your never get over the death of your child you just learn to live with it. Not because you want to but because you have to.
The mums that have lost children on the following pages of this web site have chosen not to curl up and die but to be strong for the children they have lost. We all have angels that watch over us but some of us have very special ones that watch over us every minute and every second of the day. They pick us up when we fall down and whisper in our ears " Your life is for living remember me with happiness not the heartache and sadness we all felt at the end " " I am now free " !
I ran a Trust Fund for Daniel which you can read about on the Penybont Stores Page The origianal Trust Fund Site now lies dorment in Daniel`s memory. The site is now actually full and can not be added to anymore. You can still visit the site which is frozen in time just after his death http://www.danielstrustfund.com/ The site is dedicated to Daniel. Aaron has done a bit of fund raising with his classmates and we are intent on doing somemore fund raising on a lower scale than we did previous when Daniel was alive. You can keep up to date with what is happening on the facebook link above by joining the group.
I do hope you enjoy looking around this website. Thank You for taking the time to read our pages Lesley & Aaron X
PLEASE NOTE THIS WEB SITE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
